Peek-A-Boo!

ROWAN'S FIRST EASTER!! Well, last year at this time she was just a cluster of cells, but she was there! It was last year at this time that we learned we were expecting! Actually, we took the pregnancy test Easter morning! What a day of excitement, surprise, and wonder! Time flies! Here we are already, an entire year has past...we are celebrating another wonderful Easter Sunday, and Rowan is now 16+ pounds of pure joy and happiness! She is the light of our lives, the most precious gift--our little angel sent directly from heaven! Rowan was a very good sport at the Easter Vigil, which ran until 10:00 pm (2 hours past her bedtime!). And she had a great first Easter Sunday spending the day with family and showing off her cute Easter dress with the matching bonnet! She was almost gobbled up more than once! But she's used to that! :-)

She loves ponies already!

Rowan is getting so big, and changing every day! She loves making raspberries, spitting bubbles, and standing (all as often as possible, and sometimes simultaneously!). She also likes squawking..a new thing she just picked up!

Rowan is still a bit too small for her activity center..but she enjoys it already!

Rowan's Baptism and Party

Rowan was baptized on Sunday, February 8. It was a very special day for us. Rayne and Paige are her godparents. Deacon Robert officiated the ceremony, which was small and private as hers was the only baptism that day. Afterward, we had a party for her at the house with family and friends. It was a beautiful, wonderful day! We asked anyone wanting to give a gift to share with her a copy of their favorite children's book--what a great idea, as she received several very special books that will be cherished forever...and read to her over and over again!

Rowan liked the water being poured over her head. She may have thought she was getting a bath!

Late January 2009

Rowan turned 3 months on January 27th! Time flies! She is currently figuring out how to laugh...almost there!

Daddy was showing her how to use the computer! I hope she's looking at horsey web sites, and not researching custom hot rods! :)

Rowan's smile is immensely powerful! Nothing else can melt our hearts the way her smile can. It's highly contagious too!
